JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville family gathered to celebrate a birthday for a man who was killed last July at a Westside bus stop.
Police said Michael Siegrist was killed during a robbery at a bus stop on Jammes Road in July. That is where family and friends met to honor his life Monday night.

Siegrist would have turned 35 on Monday and the person responsible for his death still has not been found.
"I think somebody should have known something or somebody might have said something to somebody else. He was murdered senselessly. He was trying to defend a girl who was getting her purse stolen," said Michael's father, Vinny Siegrist.
Friends gathered with balloons, flowers, signs and candles to honor Siegrist Monday night and in hopes that anyone with information about Siegrist's murder will call police.
