JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was convicted Wednesday of sexual battery after a child victim disclosed in April 2011 a history of sexual abuse that occurred.
An investigation revealed that Julian Belizaire, 36, forced the 12-year-old to have sex with him, according to the State Attorney's office.

Belizaire, who is currently serving a 25-year prison sentence for a prior conviction of aggravated child abuse, now faces an additional 30 years for his sexual battery conviction.
Belizaire is set to be sentenced the week of July 14.
