BUNNELL, Fla. – The man accused of killing a Palm Coast gas station employee last year has been ruled incompetent for trial.

Joseph Bova will be moved to a state hospital in an effort for him to restore competency.

Zuheily Rosado

If he recovers, he could then be brought to stand trial.

Bova is charged with murdering 32-year-old Zuheily Rosado in an execution-style shooting while she was working alone at a Mobil Mart in February 2013. Rosado was a mother of six.

Bova is accusing Flagler County deputies of framing him. He also tried to dismiss his attorney and represent himself, but the judge refused.
