Why should people vote for you?
This important position solely on who is better prepared to maintain order, enforce laws and serve the citizens. I have been in the trenches, fighting street crime longer than my opponent has been alive. There is no substitute for this type of experience. It cannot be learned from behind a desk. I am a veteran lawman who knows how to get the job done. Union County had the highest case clearance rate in the state during the 15-year period I served as Chief Deputy and was in charge of investigations. My many years of experience in the UCSO also gives me a unique perspective on ways it can be better. I plan to implement new programs to improve citizens' safety. My track record of many years of faithful, effective and professional service proves that I am the most qualified candidate for the office.
What do you hope to be remembered for after you leave office?
I would like to be remembered as a true servant of the people, an honorable and fair man who valued all citizens from all walks of life. I want to be known as a tough, fair, consistent and professional lawman who was accessible and responsive to the needs of the community. I would like to be remembered as a Sheriff who exemplified the phrase, "service above self."
