JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A New York artist is doing some patriotic painting in Jacksonville Beach Tuesday paying tribute to our nation's armed forces.
Scott LoBaido is painting an American flag mural on the wall of the VFW Post 3270.
He's painting one of these murals on a VFW or American Legion post in each of the 50 states.
LoBaido started his tour last month and Jacksonville is his fourth stop.
He started painting the mural Tuesday morning, and expects to be done by Wednesday afternoon.
LoBaido says he's painting the veterans' posts to honor the men and women who fought for the freedom he has, to express himself as an artist.
