YULEE, Fla. – The body of a woman reported missing Monday was found in a wooded area behind an apartment complex in Callahan on Wednesday, according to the Nassau County Sheriff's Office.

The NCSO called the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to assist in the investigation.

Deputies said the clothing the woman was wearing and an identifying tattoo appeared to match that of 38-year-old Fara Cravey, who was reported missing by her mother on Monday. Cravey's mother, Lafaye Cravey, said when she reported Fara missing that she hadn't seen her since March 8 around 1 p.m. She thought Fara might have been in the Jacksonville area.

Investigators are waiting for a Medical Examiner report to determine the woman's cause of death, but they do not suspect foul play. The investigation is continuing.
