COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. – A Lake City homeowner got quite the surprise Monday when an motor home ended up parked inside the home.
Mileah Kay, 56, of High Springs, was driving an RV on Interstate 75 when it blew a tire. Kay lost control, crashed through a Department of Transportation fence, sideswiped a tree and billboard sign post, crashed through a private fence then a home on Rolamite Glen.
The homeowner was inside the living room at the time but was not injured, according to Columbia County Fire Rescue.

Kay was taken to Shands Lakeshore Hospital with minor injuries.
A tow truck was on scene shortly before 10 p.m. to take the RV away.
FHP said charges were pending.
