JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police have identified the man killed in a double shooting Saturday night at the Arlington Village Apartments on Bert Road.
Shane Stewart, 22, died after he was taken to UF Health Jacksonville. A second person shot, described only as in his teens or early 20s, was also taken to UF Health, but should survive.

Detectives at the scene did not know what lead to the shooting or have any information about the shooter's identity.
Witnesses who say they know the victims told News4Jax this shooting was not gang-related. JSO said it was too early in the investigation to know for sure.
When releasing the name of the victim Tuesday, police only said this is an ongoing, active investigation.
