ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla – 24-year-old Timothy Ortiz is in the St. Johns County Jail after police say he set his Burger King work uniform on fire after being let go from his job at the restaurant.
According to a police report, Ortiz was fired from the Burger King in Palencia yesterday. Police say he went outside and set his uniform and cap on fire in front of customers before he drove home.

A St. Johns County deputy visited Ortiz' home, but deputies say Ortiz refused to talk to him. The police report says the deputy got out his handcuffs to try and arrest Ortiz, but Ortiz resisted. The deputy then tasered Ortiz before he let the deputy put the cuffs on him.
Ortiz is charged with criminal mischief, disturbing the peace, and resisting police.
