JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Lisa King, the Region 3 lead in Florida for Hillary Clinton's campaign, told News4Jax they've had volunteers working phone banks for months, but they're now getting their real big volunteer push.
Volunteers added their names to sign-up lists hanging in a hallway as they walked into the office.

"I support Hillary, particularly as a board member, for one important reason: that's her belief, in the educational system, and that education provides hopes, opportunities and jobs," said Paula Wright, a Duval County School Board member.
"People are going to be signing up for shifts, for phone banking, also for canvassing," King said. "We're going to be putting together visibility teams, so you'll see them at citywide events, particularly at events where Democrats are likely to congregate."
While Republicans focus on South Carolina Saturday, Nevada Democrats will caucus the same day. Right now polls show Clinton and Bernie Sanders are in a dead heat.
Florida's turn in the political spotlight will come in March, and the Clinton campaign is already making its presence felt in our part of the state.
Her local volunteers held an official kickoff Wednesday night in St. Nicholas at their "Florida for Hillary" headquarters.
More people arrived earlier than organizers expected, and a parking problem ensued before the event even began.
Clinton supporters packed a few rooms ahead of the program led by King, a local activist and campaign staffer in town from Iowa.
