Rash of car burglaries investigated in Palm Coast

PALM COAST, Fla. – The Flagler County Sheriff's Office is investigating several vehicle thefts.

Investigators said eight cars were burglarized and three others were stolen. One of the stolen vehicles was later found abandoned nearby.

WKMG-TV reported that the crimes took place during the night and into the morning on Sunday in the R section of Palm Coast.

A homeowner was able to capture surveillance video of thieves stealing a 2013 Chevy Tahoe and 2013 Ford Taurus out of his driveway.

Flagler County officials said the thieves got away with firearms, credit cards and other belongs from the unlocked cars.
