BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – A Florida woman was arrested Tuesday night after deputies say she bludgeoned a man with a frying pan.
Wendi Raley, 35, of Lakeland, went swimming with her mother and her mother’s boyfriend, 45-year-old Jerry Watkins. When they returned home, Watkins and Raley got into a heated argument about wanting Raley to leave, according to officials.

That’s when deputies said Raley went for a frying pan.
After being pushed away by Watkins, Raley grabbed a frying pan and hit Watkins in the head, deputies said.
Wendi Raley’s mother, Victoria Raley, 54, took the pan from her daughter. Wendi Raley then grabbed another frying pan and struck Watkins in his head a second time, causing a cut and swelling on the left side of his head, deputies said.
Watkins was flown to Orange Park Medical Center for treatment.
Wendi Raley was arrested without incident and charged with aggravated battery, deputies said.
