PALM COAST, Fla. – Detectives with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office are investigating at least four recent cases in which a man riding a small black motorcycle exposed himself to a female victim, usually someone out walking her dog, deputies said Monday.
The incidents occurred in the “R,” “W,” and “P” sections of Palm Coast between July 27 and Aug. 26, 2016.

Here’s what detectives know about the four cases:
- 9:09 p.m. July 27 on Rae Drive: A woman walking her dog said a man on a motorcycle with no headlight stopped near her. He had his pants unzipped and was holding his penis and touching it, and asked her if she wanted to make $100. She said no and ran home to call law enforcement. Description: Black man about 20 years old, wearing a full-face helmet, blue jeans and dark shirt. The motorcycle was described as being black in color.
- 5:20 p.m. Aug. 11 on Westchester Lane: A woman walking her dogs near an empty wooded lot said a man on a motorcycle approached her, exposed himself and began to rub himself sensually while looking at her. He then drove away. Description: Black man. Unknown description of the motorcycle.
- 9:55 p.m. Aug. 15 on Pinelynn Lane: A woman was sitting in a chair in her garage when a man walked from the side of her house to her driveway between parked vehicles. His penis was exposed, and he held it in his hand. She yelled for her husband and the suspect ran toward Pinelynn Drive. Description: Younger black male, 5 feet 1 inch to 5 feet 3 inches tall; no shirt but wore blue jeans and orange framed sunglasses, and had well-defined abdominal muscles. No motorcycle seen in this case.
- 4:47 p.m. Aug. 26 on Pinto Lane/Pin Oak Drive: A woman was walking her dog when a man riding a small motorcycle approached her. He had undone his pants, then exposed himself and began masturbating in front of her. He fled on the bike when she called law enforcement. Description: Black man, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a gray hoodie tied tightly to his face and blue jeans; riding unknown type or color dirt bike.
Here are some tips to avoid becoming a victim:
- Practice good situational awareness: Be aware of who is around you, both walking and anyone parked nearby. Ninety percent of self-defense is awareness; 10 percent is physical.
- Scream or yell in a loud voice if someone approaches you in a threatening manner. Screaming “Back off!” or “Get back!” to alert bystanders is the No. 1 thing you can do to get help and maybe even save your life.
- Listen to your instincts: If something or someone seems suspicious, turn around, go another way.
- If possible, walk before dark. Walk in well-lit areas. Take another person with you, if possible.
- Provide a good description: Be able to describe a suspect’s clothes, appearance, height, weight, hair and eye color, race, sex and vehicle.
- Unless the situation dictates otherwise, do not confront or take matters into your own hands. Be a good witness and call law enforcement immediately.
