JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Five women were arrested Tuesday on prostitution charges, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police arrested three of the women on Philips Highway. Arrest reports indicate that the investigations were launched due to resident complaints. One of the arrests occurred in the Panama Park area and the fifth one in South Metro, police said.
The women range in age from 30 to 46 years old.
Here are the names of the five arrested and the charges they face:
Buffy Bryan, 46, of Jacksonville, is charged with offering, committing or engaging in prostitution or assignation -- third and subsequent offense.
Connie Carroll, 30, of South Carolina, is charged with offering, committing or engaging in prostitution or assignation -- first offense.
Tara Davis, 46, of Jacksonville, is charged with offering, committing or engaging in prostitution or assignation -- first offense.
Teenie Marcinkowski, 46, of Green Cove Springs, is charged with offering, committing or engaging in prostitution or assignation -- first offense.
Julie Williams, 45, is charged with offering, committing or engaging in prostitution or assignation -- third and subsequent offense.
