What do you see as the top three issues in this race?

  • Supporting our veterans
  • Creating good-paying, clean Jobs in our district
  • Changing the way we do business in congress

How can you help voters in a way that others running for this office cannot?

As a Vietnam veteran, I understand what many of us (Veterans) have experienced. I know that we have both seen and unseen scars from our time in the service. The federal government must support our veterans by granting the VA enough funding to support both physical and psychiatric ailments. As a businessman, I have helped create hundreds of jobs locally. I know how to effectively direct federal funding towards projects that will support good-paying, clean jobs in our district. As a volunteer on dozens of boards and committees, I have personal experience with a wide range of groups, concerns and issues. I will make sure that if any constituent needs the help of myself or my staff, I will be accessible to them.

What would you hope to be remembered for accomplishing after serving in this office?

1. Being a spokesperson and advocate for veterans.
2. Bringing federal funds to our district to rebuild our infrastructure and create jobs for Florida's Third District.
3. Having a strong working relationship with all parties and constituents; Republicans, Independents, and Democrats alike.

What do you see as the top three issues in this race?

  • Reversing Congressional corruption by corporate money - allowing the will of the people to prevail.
  • Cutting off the sources of Greenhouse Gases that threaten our future.
  • TPP is a crime yet to be - it must be stopped.

  • How can you help voters in a way that others running for this office cannot?

The most pernicious problems we face today, from Global Warming, TPP, private prisons, and homelessness/hopelessness to terrorism can be traced to vested interests investing in corrupting Congress. I will take no money, favors or promises from vested interests and will challenge colleagues to join me in a Straight Arrow Caucus so pledged.

What would you hope to be remembered for accomplishing after serving in this office?

Promulgating Straight Arrow ethical standards through Congress to effect the solution of critical problems. For integrity in pursuing the people's interests.
