NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. – A Nassau County man was sentenced Thursday to 22 years in a 2015 stabbing, the State Attorney's Office said.
Jason Powell, 39, was convicted last month of first-degree attempted murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Powell and the victim got into an argument at a Fernandina Beach bar in April 2015.
After the two left the bar, Powell drove to a parking lot where the victim was found and ran over him. Powell then got out of his truck and stabbed the victim in the throat.
