JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One 19-year-old was shot Thursday morning at a strip mall on Normandy Boulevard was shot Thursday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police said there were multiple shots fired about 11:15 a.m., hitting the person, who was found on the sidewalk in front of an auto parts store on Normandy, just east of Lenox Avenue. Police described it as a drive-by shooting, but have no description of the vehicle used.

The teenager was taken to UF Health Jacksonville with non-life-threatening injuries.

This was the 13th person shot in Jacksonville in the last seven days. Three of those victims died of their injuries. No one has been charged in any of the homicides.
