Van crashes into fence at Landon Middle School track

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A van crashed through a fence that surrounds the track at Landon Middle School on Tuesday afternoon. No students were on the field at the time.

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue removed the driver and a dog from the van. The extent of any injuries was not yet known.

A witness who lives on Arcadia Place, behind the school, told News4Jax that he saw the van out his window drive south on the street. He said it never slowed down, went through one fence and across the field before hitting a second fence and stopping.
