JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – You can now make an appointment for your next visit to the Duval County or St. Johns County Tax Collector's offices.

Duval County Tax Collector Michael Corrigan on Thursday announced the launch of the new appointment system, which allows customers to book an appointment online for a number of services.
“We are very excited to announce this new appointment system to the public. In just the last month our offices conducted more than 198,000 transactions. This new appointment system will help regulate the number of customers at our branch offices at one time,” Corrigan said. “Customer can easily book an appointment on duvaltaxcollect.net from any smartphone or computer.”
Corrigan said it's just like making an appointment at the doctor's office.
“While an appointment is not necessary, we encourage customers to book an appointment at any of our nine branch locations in advance to reduce the wait,” Corrigan said.

St. Johns County
The St. Johns County Tax Collector's Office announced Friday that customers will be able to shorten wait times and make appointments at its offices by going to www.sjctax.us.
Once on the site, users can click on the Mobile Check-in icon.
Once on the Mobile Check-In page, customers can select an office and a service, which will show the customer the wait time for that service at the office location of their choice.
To be added to the queue at that office, customers can simply enter their name and cellphone number, and a text message will be sent to their phone with information to show at check-in once they arrive.
Customers visiting offices at Dupont Center, Julington Creek or Ponte Vedra, need to either print the bar code from their computer, or keep it on their phone for check-in.
“We know that your time is valuable,” said St. Johns County Tax Collector Dennis W. Hollingsworth. “We have added this service so our customers can better plan their visit before coming to one of our offices for service.”
