BLACKSHEAR, Ga. – A well-known insurance agent in Blackshear, Georgia, was arrested on drug charges, police said.
Dana Larson Bowen faces a felony charge of possession of cocaine and a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana.

Bowen, 51, was arrested after a Blackshear police officer discovered a break-in at her office.
It's uncertain what was found in the office initially, but Blackshear police called the Georgia Insurance Commission's Fraud Division.
The agency obtained a search warrant for Bowen's office and home. Police said they found baggies of cocaine and marijuana at her home.
Bowen was booked into the Pierce County Jail, but has since been released on $6,000 bond, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office website.
The Georgia Insurance Commission sent News4Jax the following statement:
"The Insurance Commissioner's office is following tips of inappropriate insurance transactions. We recommend that any client of this agency check with insurance company listed on their policies to confirm proper coverage. Anyone with questions can call the Insurance Department at 800-656-2298."
