Police: Man arrested after walking down his street -- naked

Jesse Negron charged with indecent exposure

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was arrested Tuesday morning after going for a stroll -- naked -- down the middle of a street in Arlington, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

Jesse Negron, 33, is charged with indecent exposure.

According to the arrest report, police were flagged down on Wycombe Drive West after someone reported a man rolling around naked. When the officer arrived, he found Negron walking down the road -- naked.

Another driver told police that the man had been doing a naked handstand in the roadway.

Other neighbors told News4Jax that they also Negron in action, dancing and doing yoga in the middle of the street. One resident named David, who lives off of nearby Sandhurst Road, said he was met with an unpleasant surprise when he woke up Tuesday morning.

"I was in my house, sleeping, and the guy from Comcast came over to fix my cable and he told me that, on his way coming here, that a guy was in the middle of the road, no shoes on -- nothing," David said. "He was back flipping. He was standing on his hands and his leg was up in the air. That's something you really don't want to see. And I just hope we don't have another situation like that."

Neighbors said the incident was no laughing matter, as it happened in a neighborhood full of children.

"That was very dangerous. If he could do something like that, we don't know what he had in his mind," David said. "According to what I heard, at the same time that was happening, a lady and a baby were coming down the street. So that's very dangerous around here."

Other neighbors described Negron as a character, but also said he means well and is a great landscaper.

The arresting officer said Negron didn’t appear to be intoxicated, and has no documented mental health issues.

Negron was booked into the Duval County Jail, and ordered held on $2,500 bond.
