JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry has signed a bill creating a permanent memorial for POWs and MIAs at Cecil Commerce Center.
The memorial will honor those service men and women who were lost while fighting for their country.
Organizers said that today is special because they started working on this more than a year ago.
They also say what makes it unique is that it's the only memorial in the country that will list all of the names of those lost and missing in action.
