JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 64-year-old man was shot to death Monday night in the front yard of a home off St. Augustine Road, just south of Emerson Street, and Jacksonville police have launched their 121st homicide investigation of the year.
Officers responded were called to investigate the death of Lonnie Stewart at a home on Wright Avenue. Police said several people in the home at the time that were questioned.

"At this point we are talking to everyone who is at the house to try and determine, not only what took place, but what their relationship is to the home," JSO homicide Sgt. Robert John.
