BRUNSWICK, Ga. – A 57-year-old man was found dead inside a home on Jesup Road Friday by officers conducting a welfare check, the Glynn County Police Department said.
The body of Antoni Zalewski, of Illinois, was found inside the home about 6:55 p.m., police said.
Police on Sunday said the cause of death was a gunshot wound. His death is being investigated as a murder. Police said investigators do not have any suspects.

Police said Zalewski was in the process of remodeling his home and may have been selling or giving away old fixtures and materials. Investigators said they would like to speak to anyone who has received or bought any of the fixtures or has had any contact with him recently.
