JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A body was found Tuesday at a storage facility near the Jacksonville Townhouse Apartments on the city's Southside, where a fire broke out early Monday, the facility's manager said.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded about 5:30 p.m. to the U-Haul Self Storage on Philips Highway, just north of Emerson Street, which is directly next to the Townhouse Apartments.

The manager of the U-Haul storage facility said police told her that the body was found inside a storage unit, and it appeared to have been there a few hours.
News4Jax was told the discovery was not related to the Townhouse Apartments fire.
