Attention was brought to Sumlar's death Tuesday evening at City Hall, where activists gathered calling for action against crime in the LGBTQ community. Activists also discussed the deaths of three transgender women in Jacksonville during 2018.
On Tuesday, Jacksonville police also released a series of images showing the man at a convenience store, a fast food restaurant and outside a gas station.
