FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – Everyone, meet Holmes!
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office has named the agency’s first bloodhound pup in decades. 2,000 name suggestions flooded in, but Holmes was the best fit!

When fully trained, Holmes will be used for finding missing persons with dementia, suicidal persons, and others that may need to be found quickly.
"Our new bloodhound has a name! His name will be Holmes, after Sherlock Holmes," FFCO said. "Thank you all for sending in your suggestions!"
