JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two people were shot Wednesday morning while standing outside of a Northwest Jacksonville home, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
The initial report from police indicated that only one man had been shot on Abelia Road near the Moncrief neighborhood, but the police report notes two victims were wounded and taken to UF Health Hospital.

Initially, police said the man was standing outside his house when another man, dressed in all black clothing, walked up and shot him before running off, according to police. They did not mention the second victim listed in the police report.
The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate.
