Jacksonville celebrates Jewish American Heritage Month

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The City of Jacksonville celebrated Jewish American Heritage Month Wednesday afternoon with an event at city hall.

Jewish American Heritage Month is celebrated annually in May to recognize and celebrate the contributions and achievements of American Jews to the United States.

According to the Berman Jewish DataBank, there are about 13,000 Jewish Americans who live in Jacksonville.
