Cooler temperatures on the way for everyone, Isolated showers in Southeastern Georgia

Cold front heads our way and changes our conditions from warm to cool

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – We saw a few more clouds that previous days, but we still made it into the low to mid 80s for the afternoon hours. The clouds are ahead of a cold front that may bring a few isolated showers tonight to the North of I-10.

Not everyone will see the showers, but everyone will feel the colder air behind the front, starting on Thursday. The cold front will be about half way through our area on Thursday morning, making for a mostly cloudy day on ly topping out in the mid 70s. Chances for rain across northeastern Florida will be scattered to isolated (around a 30% chance) but chances for rain across southeastern Georgia will be scattered to widespread, around a 50% chance for rain.

On Friday the temperatures turn chilly for the morning hours, starting in the mid to upper 50s. Expect cloudy skies to start off with that clear up during the day, ending with partly cloudy skies. Afternoon temperatures will only top out in the upper 60s, never even breaking into the 70s. The winds will build out of the northeast, dangerously brisk along the waterways.

The weekend will be breezy, cool, with building clouds. There is an isolated chance for showers on Sunday (30%) and afternoon highs on both days range from the upper 60s to low 70s.
