JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As the weather warms up, so are some of the best singers in Jacksonville.

18 people stopped by the News4Jax studios on Saturday for their second audition in the Oh Say Can You Sing competition. The youngest competitor was only 11-years-old! Everyone had different experience levels. Some had never really performed publicly before, but others were old hands at performing around town.

Each contestant performed two songs for the judges, the National Anthem and one of their choosing. They also had a few minutes to get some feedback from the judges, who are both local vocal coaches.

The judges and a team of News4Jax producers will work together to narrow down the Top 10. The public will vote on the final three. As soon as the polls are open, there will be an updated link on our website.

The top three finalists will sing live during our Fireworks Spectacular on the Fourth of July. The winner will sing the National Anthem before the downtown fireworks show kicks off, and win $500.
