Police need help identifying man in convenience store armed robbery

Suspect was last seen on foot heading south on C.R. 214, police said

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, Fla. – The Clay County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying the suspect in an armed robbery that happened at a Keystone Heights convenience store early Sunday morning.

The robbery happened at the Gizmo convenience store at 8090 State Road 100 at 2:54 a.m.

The suspect is described as a white man, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin to medium build. 

He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a large white design on the front, a white star on each shoulder and a large design -- possibly a skull with 2 stars -- on the back. He was also wearing a blue bandanna, blue gloves and wielding a black handgun.

The man was last seen on foot heading southbound on County Road 214 toward Melrose.

The store clerk was uninjured in the robbery. 

The suspect stole cash and cigarettes.
