The incident forced authorities to close several roads until they brought the situation under control. About 7 p.m., Sgt. Larry Smith told News4Jax the man came outside peacefully and the scene was clear.

Smith said domestic violence charges are possible for the unnamed man. An update on the woman's condition was not immediately available.
