Jacksonville woman hit, killed in Starke

STARKE, Fla. – A Jacksonville woman, 52, died after she was hit by a car in Bradford County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened around 7 p.m. on US 301, south of County Road 18.

Officials said the woman walked into the right lane right in front of the man’s vehicle.

The woman died at the scene. The driver cooperated with the police and had no reported injuries.
