ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – One person was taken into custody Friday night after another person was shot in Alachua County, deputies said.
The Alachua County Sheriff's Office responded just before 8 p.m. to the shooting on Northwest 254th Avenue, just off North State Road 121.
Deputies said the victim was airlifted, but the extent of the victim's injuries is unknown.
