CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – Crews were called Monday night to a conveyor belt fire at Fulghum Fibres in the Clay Hill area, according to Clay County Emergency Management.
Firefighters with Clay County and Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded about 9:30 p.m. to the fire at the business on County Road 218, near U.S. 301.

John Ward, director of Clay County Emergency Management, said the entire conveyor belt caught fire, along with a pile of wood chips and a bin.
Ward told News4Jax that the blaze was contained less than an hour later, but it's unclear how it started.
No injuries were reported.
Crews will be monitoring hot spots and areas still smoldering.
