Police: 1 shot, killed in Lake City

LAKE CITY, Fla. – One person was killed in a shooting Thursday afternoon in Lake City, the Police Department said.

The deadly shooting happened about 2:30 p.m. on Northeast Fronie Street at Cummings Way. 

Police said they're looking for a known suspect.

The victim's name was not released as officers are working to notify family. 

The Lake City Police Department continues to investigate.
