Flagler County sheriff honors volunteers

Members of the Citizen Observer Program contributed volunteer hours in 2015

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – The Flagler County sheriff honored volunteers of the Citizen Observer Program on Wednesday.

Fifty-four members of the COP contributed volunteer hours in 2015. Those hours ranged from 205 hours to 2,385 hours. Sheriff James L. Manfre presented the volunteers with certificates and special coins for their efforts.

The COPs are trained to perform a variety of tasks including answering phone calls, fingerprinting adults for jobs and registering burglar alarms.
