JACKSONVILLE, Fla – State Rep. Mia Jones, D-Jacksonville, who spent part of last week answering questions and debating the merits of expanding health care on the House floor, was hospitalized Monday after going to the Capital clinic.
Rep. Cary Pigman, an emergency room physician who serves in the House with Jones, called an ambulance. As she left the Capitol on a stretcher, Jones says she felt fine.

Jones was transported to Capitol Regional Medical Center. Her Jacksonville office could not provide information on her condition.
