Hurricane Matthew storm debris removal from St.Johns River starts

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection announced Friday that they are working through contractors to remove Hurricane Matthew related debris from the St. Johns River.

The department said it will only remove debris from the river that is directly related to the hurricane. The contractors will not remove any debris that is on or is tied off on private property.
