Jacksonville officers responding to domestic violence call find 2 dead

BLACK HAMMOCK ISLAND, Fla. – Officers responding to a 911 call of domestic violence about midnight at a home on Black Hammock Island found two people dead, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Police said Juan Antonio Martinez, 61, shot and killed Tania badal Woodrum, 66, and then killed himself.

Homicide investigators found Woodrum and Martinez were involved in a domestic dispute at the home on Shark Road East before the deadly shooting.

Detectives said the investigation was ongoing, but there were no outstanding suspects.
