JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Officers with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office were called to investigate a shooting Thursday night in the Moncrief neighborhood.
The shooting occurred at the Hilltop Village Apartments.

A spokesperson for JSO said officers and Jacksonville Fire Rescue responded to the area for a reported shooting around 7:45 Thursday night.
Upon arrival, a man was found with at least one gunshot wound. Police said he died at the scene.
No further information was released, including whether the man was found inside or outside of an apartment.
