JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two southbound lanes of Interstate 95 near Philips Highway were closed for three hours Sunday after a crash involving a police cruiser.
According to the Florida Department of Transportation, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 9:10 a.m.

It appeared a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office patrol car and a white SUV were involved. It was not immediately known whether anyone was injured.

The southbound lanes of I-95 reopened around 12:10 p.m.
News4Jax reached out to the Sheriff’s Office about the crash but had not heard back as of Sunday afternoon.
