JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The family of a child found on Fort Caroline Road has been identified, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said Sunday.
Shortly before 8 a.m. Sunday, the Sheriff’s Office posted on its social media pages a photo of a child who police said was located in the area of Fort Caroline Road near Rogero Road and asked for the community’s help in identifying him.

About an hour later, police announced the child’s family had been identified.
