JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One unidentified man is dead after a drive-by shooting in Arlington.
Just after 8 p.m. on Saturday night the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to 9840 Atlantic Blvd. about a person shot. Upon arriving they discovered an unidentified male between 20-25 suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was transported to Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation has revealed that the victim was driving eastbound on Arlington Expressway when the vehicle he was driving was shot multiple times. Around the same time, a 911 call came in about gunfire around the Southside connector and Arlington Expressway. It is believed to be the same incident.
Investigators believe the shooter or shooters were in another vehicle.
