ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – A pedestrian is dead, and the driver is charged with DUI Manslaughter after a fatal crash in Alachua County.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday a car was traveling west on County Road 232 just east of I-75, when it struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver was arrested for DUI Manslaughter and felony DUI 3rd conviction in ten years.
