Fairgoers seek shelter as weather puts a damper on 1st day of Clay County fair

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – Fairgoers at the Clay County Fairgrounds were forced to seek shelter early Thursday evening as rain and storms made their way through Northeast Florida.

It happened on the first day of the Clay County Agricultural Fair.

Despite the weather, the fair remained open at last check.
