The child’s age, gender and condition were not released.

News of the ocean rescue came just an hour after News4JAX learned a missing swimmer’s body had been found in the Fort George Inlet off Huguenot Memorial Park.

Just after 11 a.m. Saturday, JaxReady, the official Twitter for the city’s emergency preparedness division, posted a red flag warning for dangerous ocean conditions, warning swimmers not to get in the water Saturday.
