Jacksonville, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp hit the diamond Saturday night to honor the life and career of baseball’s most iconic-trailblazing figures, Jackie Robinson.
The team paid tribute by rocking the Jax Red Caps uniforms, which were worn in the Negro American League from 1938 until 1942. The Shrimp won 7-5 over the Gwinnett Stripers at 121 Financial Ballpark, continuing their winning streak.
