JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville man was charged with manslaughter this week after he was accused of selling drugs that led to an overdose death, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
Derrick Harris, 58, was accused of selling drugs, including fentanyl, in December of 2021, according to an arrest report from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested in January.

According to records, Harris knew the woman who died.
The State Attorney’s Office said it will continue to file charges against drug dealers in overdose deaths.
